The Introduction to 12-LEAD ECG’s empowers healthcare professionals with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and hands-on training to improve your management of both medical and trauma patients.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE INTRODUCTION TO 12-LEAD ECG’s…

All Healthcare Professionals who are interested in gaining confidence and improving their skill with 12-Lead ECG Evaluation should attend this program.

We strongly recommend that participants either complete the LEAD II ECG BOOTCAMP or have a strong understanding of Lead II ECG Interpretation, prior to attending the Introduction to 12-LEAD ECG’s Program.

WHO SHOULD NOT ATTEND THE INTRODUCTION To 12-LEAD ECG PROGRAM…

If you are already expert at 12-Lead ECG Evaluation, this is not the program for you.

The Key Components of the INTRODUCTION TO 12-LEAD ECG’s Are:

Resuscitation Canada has developed INTRODUCTION TO 12-LEAD ECG program to establish a standardized body of 12-Lead ECG knowledge and to improve the care of all patients.

The Third Edition of theINTRODUCTION TO 12-LEAD ECG Program combines interactive learning with scenario-based assessments to give all healthcare professionals a comprehensive learning experience.

Systematic Approach to 12-Lead ECG Evaluation

12-Lead ECG Evaluation can be a daunting task, with the use of our systematic approach to 12-LEAD ECG Evaluation, this task is made much easier. By the end of the Introduction to 12-Lead ECG Program, you will be able to confidently evaluate any patient’s 12-Lead ECG.

Hands-on Training Using both an Individual and Team Approach

Not only will you gain confidence evaluating 12-Lead ECG rhythms. You will gain confidence using various cardiac monitors capable of capturing 12throughout your course.

2 Day Intensive Course with Expert Educators

The Introduction to 12-LEAD ECG Program is a 2-Day Intensive Course that is taught by expert educators. Our primary focus is on creating a stress-free learning environment.

Evaluation, Verification, and Contact Hours

Successful completion of the course requires 80% or greater on the open book multiple choice exam and 80% or greater on the skill station evaluation.

All Candidates with successful completion will receive the Resuscitation Canada – Introduction to 12-LEAD ECG Evaluation, provider verification card.

All attendees will be awarded contact hour certificate with appropriate contact hours.

16 contact hours are awarded for course completion.
